Product Description

Bacopa is a creeping herb, rooted at the nodes, more or less fleshy, hairless, and very similar to purslane. The leaves are sessile, oblong-oblanceolate, 8-20 mm long, 3-6 mm wide, with blunt tops and few teeth. Flowers solitary in leaf axils, pedicels 0.5-3.5 cm long, with a pair of strip-shaped bracteoles under the calyx. Capsule long ovate, apex acute, wrapped in persistent calyx, 4-lobed. Seeds elliptic, truncate at one end, yellowish-brown, with longitudinal ribs on the surface. Flowering period May-October.
