Lentinan (LNT for short) Lentinan is an active ingredient extracted from high quality shiitake mushroom seeds and is the main active ingredient of shiitake mushroom, which is a kind of host defence potentiator (HDP).
Shiitake polysaccharide is an active ingredient extracted from the fruiting bodies of high-quality shiitake mushrooms, and the active ingredient in shiitake polysaccharide is β-(1-3)-D-glucan with branching, and the main chain consists of β-(1-3)-linked β-(1-3)-glucans. The main chain consists of β-(1-3)-linked glucose groups, and the β-(1-6)-linked glucose groups are randomly distributed along the main chain, showing a comb-like structure.
