Product Description

Amomum villosum (scientific name: Amomum villosum Lour.) is a perennial herb in the ginger family, Amomaceae. The plant is up to 3 m tall, with scattered stems; the rhizomes are creeping on the ground, the central leaves are long lance-shaped, the upper leaves are linear, the tips are caudate, both sides are smooth and glabrous, the ligule is semiorbicular, the spikes are elliptic, the involucral pedicels are brown velutinous, flowering in May-June; fruiting in August-September. The extract is a fine powder made from the dried and matured fruit of Yangchun sand of the ginger family, extracted and processed with pure water and spray dried.
