Product Description

 

Nettle (Urtica fissa E. Pritz.) a perennial herb, up to 100 cm tall, four-edged, with few branches. Leaf blade submembranous, broadly ovate, elliptic, pentagonal or suborbicular in outline, lobes gradually increasing from bottom to top, triangular or oblong, green or dark green above, light green below, petiole densely spiny and puberulent; Stipules grassy, green, monoecious, inflorescences paniculate, male flowers short peduncle, tepals connate in middle and lower part, female flowers small, almost sessile; Achenes suborbicular with maroon verrucous spots on the surface; Flowers from August to October, fruit from September to November.
